If one 3 day weekend is a good thing, two are even better! Come join us for a low key trackday at magnificent Buttonwillow Raceway Park in the cultural capital of California - the Central Valley! As well as a great track there are the scenic cottonfields of Buttonwillow, the stunning oil pumps of McKittrick and the cosmopolitan shopping at the 76 Truck Stop. For goodness sake don't miss the Haute Cuisine of Denny's on the main drag. (Rumour has it that Head Chef Gaston "Bubba" Hatfield is up for a Guide Michelin star or two!!!)

The deal:

8 Hours of track time in two run groups, 1 and 2

Group 1 has passing only on the straights and is for our friends who are not comfortable with "Open" Tracking

Group 2 has passing everywhere and is for our more experienced pals

You can swap groups whenever you like, just be cool with the rules or you will get Schniedered (asked to calm down or hit the bricks).

Here are three threads that have some more details: Linkski  Link-a-Roo One Driver's Perspective

WE HAVE NEVER HAD CONTACT BETWEEN CARS AND WE DON"T WANT TO START WITH YOU!

We split the cost between everyone, it is about $10K and will thus be between $200 and $225. This includes lunch, marshalls, fire, ambulance and track insurance.   Here is the track:  http://www.buttonwillowraceway.com/

To join us we require a deposit of $100 or the entire $200 asap as these things fill up. If you tell us two weeks in advance we will give back your money - no problemos amigos! Go to your postbox and send your money to John Klusendorf in care of the address on this page: http://www.delysenash.com/ or using paypal, send your registration fee to jk@delysenash.com. Feel free to email and get more detail, although we are all pretty busy people and we may not get back to you right away, but certainly within 24 hours.

This is a low-key fun event with coaching available, you need only a good helmet and outlook, not experience.

Significant others welcome as passengers 18+ please! Fuel at the track and repairs too!
